When La Altena first reopened after remodeling, around the time Publix opened... Service was good, they were very appreciative of your business. Since about October 09 the service has been very poor, especially if it is the owner's son that is waiting on you. He has either lost our order, got the order wrong, forgot to hook up a new keg so they are out of cold draft or forgotten to write down our order to turn in to the kitchen the last 6 times we have been in there, but when you bring it to his attention he chuckles it off and never offers any compensation for the error. The food is always excellent! Great Salsa, true authentic mexican food at a very reasonable price. We have gone there for YEARS, but if they don't brush up on service skills soon, we will be forced to fine a new favorite mexican resturant in East Brainerd.
